Business

Brookfield Infrastructure owns and operates long-life infrastructure in four segments, utilities, transport, midstream and data, across the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe. It says about 90% of its Adjusted EBITDA is backed by regulated or contracted revenue. The partnership was spun off from Brookfield in 2008, is managed by Brookfield for a base fee of 1.25% of its market value plus preferred units and net recourse debt, and usually owns its businesses alongside Brookfield-sponsored funds, so it consolidates many assets it only partly owns.
