Security

Your research
is yours.

The company data on AnalystBook is public by nature — it comes from SEC filings. The private part is your judgment: your notes, theses and watchlists. Here is how both are protected.

Our practices.

01

Sign-in without passwords

Authentication uses magic links to your email, or OAuth via Google and Microsoft. AnalystBook never stores a password for you, so there is no password to leak. Sessions are secure, HTTP-only cookies.

02

Encrypted in transit

All traffic to and within analystbook.com runs over TLS (HTTPS). The application and database run on Google Cloud in the European Union, with storage encrypted at rest by the platform.

03

Payments never touch our servers

Checkout and billing are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider. AnalystBook never sees or stores your card details.

04

Your research is private

Your notes, theses, watchlists and reviews are your data. They are not shared with other users, not used to train models, and never sold. Company data on the platform derives from public SEC filings — the private part is your judgment, and it stays private.

05

Analytics only with consent

Product analytics run only after you accept cookies, on EU-hosted infrastructure. Decline and the product works exactly the same.

06

API access is scoped and revocable

The read-only API (for connecting your own AI tools) uses per-user tokens scoped to your data, revocable at any time. Calls are logged for audit.

FAQ

Security questions.

Where is my data hosted?

On Google Cloud in the European Union (europe-west1). Transport is TLS end-to-end and storage is encrypted at rest by the platform.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from settings, and you can request deletion of your account and research data by contacting support — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Is my research used to train AI models?

No. Your notes, theses and questions are not used to train models and are not shared with other users. The AI works from public filing data plus your own session context.

Do you support SSO for teams?

SSO/SAML is available on the Enterprise plan on request, along with seats, roles and team administration. Contact sales@analystbook.com.
