Specialty Insurance writes commercial lines such as commercial auto, workers' compensation, general liability and property for businesses and institutions in transportation, construction, healthcare and other sectors, with no meaningful homeowners or private auto exposure. Title Insurance issues title policies, a significant portion of them through independent agents. The company says it is managed for the long run and judges itself on underwriting results over 10-year intervals, while earning significant investment income on the funds its underwriting generates.
