Variable annuities are the core, with $242.8 billion of account value, and it also sells registered index-linked (RILA), fixed and fixed index annuities. It was the seventh largest US retail annuity company by sales for the nine months to September 2025, according to LIMRA, and became an independent public company on September 13, 2021.
